G-LOFT® insulation offers an exceptional warmth-to-weight balance. It is significantly lighter while providing greater loft through increased air pockets, delivering superior thermal efficiency compared to other insulation materials of equal weight. Its fill power rivals that of duck down, ensuring reliable warmth without added bulk.

The Guide Hoodie features the advanced Hydronaute XT™ membrane found in our premium expedition down jackets. This waterproof rip-stop fabric provides enhanced protection against rain and snow. In light, brief showers, the Guide Hoodie serves well as an outer layer. Additionally, Hydronaute XT fabric is completely windproof, ensuring you stay comfortable in harsh weather conditions.

Hydronaute XT fabric goes beyond breathability by actively wicking away sweat while blocking external moisture. This helps keep the G-LOFT® ECO EVOX insulation drier, improving its effectiveness.
