Air cure PFC proofer for hike and Expedition tents
For optimal tent performance, it is important to regularly care for and clean the flysheet's DWR surface treatment. Over time, this treatment wears out and can be revitalised with our silicone-based tent proofer. Containing no harmful PFCs, this product is safe and effective. Simply spray it on to restore the DWR's original performance and enhance any color fading from UV exposure. To determine if an item requires additional DWR, perform a simple test by dripping water onto the flysheet. If the water runs off, the DWR is still functioning well. If the water clings or darkens the surface, consider using our tent proofer after cleaning.
Storm Tent Proofer Instructions:
Clean fabric if required with Storm Wash. Use on damp or dry fabric. Shake bottle and spray evenly from a distance of 10 - 15 cm. Rubbing over with a clean cloth dampened with proofer ensures better performance and reduces runs. Allow to dry for 12 hours for maximum performance, reduce this time by using tumble dry if garment allows.
