How to use a Garmin GPS, InReach Mini 2, GPS Maps 66i, Messenger, Montanna 750i  or any other Inreach Device.

With decades of experience in planing and conducting Special Operations - Dave Parker will personally set you up with a communications and risk reduction plan that will ensure safety and redundancy when venturing into the outdoors. 

Dave will:

• Set you up with a satellite provider
• Explain, demonstrate and practice all functions with you
• Test your communications
• Demonstrate to your next of kin/emergency contact how to track your trip
• Assist in writing an action plan for you in case of emergency

PAST Outdoors can also be one of your emergency contacts to assist coordinating a rescue or other changes of plans on a trip rescue should you require it (conditions and charges may apply). With deep connections into the Search and Rescue Community, any rescue can be expedited with a few phone calls or a bit of expert advice to the party needing rescued - we can help you help yourself.

You will need:

• To download the Garmin Explore and Garmin Messenger Apps.
• Create an account with Garmin
• Have 45 minutes of time for an in-store visit or video call
• Have a credit card or payment method for a satellite subscription
